Dännch'e, äyinji Jocelyn úye. I am a consultant and PhD candidate from Whitehorse, Yukon. I am proud to share I was recently awarded the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship to work with my community, the Champagne and Aishihik First Nation. We are developing a settlement land use plan that is intended to assert the integrity of our Self-government and Land Claims agreements. We aim to drive reconcilation by continuing our journey towards self reliance and self determination. I do this to contribute my role in the quest started by yesterday's leaders so we may pass it to tomorrow's generations to come.
